Client Support

Mark Chillery says "Typical on-site roles might involve a substantial element of troubleshooting of existing work. If an analysis team are having difficulty with a particular aspect of an analysis, I may be able to assist in developing new strategies to progress to a meaningful solution . But I may also be required to support a  structural or stress team, simply when additional man-hours are required, to progress a project more rapidly."

Fees

On-site work is charged hourly and is based on market contract rates for a similarly qualified engineer. A 20 to 40% surcharge is common, for short-term assignments and subsistence may be negotiated in some cases.

The same fee structure is also applied to mixed on- and off-site work but additional charges for software amortisation will be made, an additional 20% of the market contract rate being typical.

On and Off-site Support

"Many clients prefer on-site working but I am also able to offer off-site support, using Chalice's resources. This benefits clients if they do not have sufficient licensing and hardware surpluses to support another worker on-site. This sort of work usually means I make frequent visits to the client to update them on progress."
